We are looking for an excellent communicator who has negotiation and mediation skills for our one year temporary opportunity as a Tenancy Sustainment Officer.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will provide a comprehensive, pro-active and intensive intervention package to individuals and families who have multiple and complex needs. The aim of the role is to secure suitable accommodation, reduce rough sleeping risks, ensure tenancy sustainment, assist them to make sustainable changes and reduce their barriers to employment.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a housing or support related field.
You should also have experience of complex support work and of multi-agency working. You will need experience of supporting clients with substance misuse and mental health issues.

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
