What will your day look like?
As a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor for the Grounds Maintenance Service, you will be working borough wide across land that is under the responsibility of North East Lincolnshire Council. You will assist the Grounds Maintenance Operational Area Manager in the day to day operational running of the Grounds Maintenance Service ensuring that all resources are allocated correctly and efficiently and ensuring that all operational procedures are implemented and delivered.
You will be supervising the Tree and Paid Work teams. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 15.30pm and Friday, 7.30am to 15.00am.
Who are we looking for?
The right candidates will be committed to working as part of the Grounds Maintenance Team, there are two other Supervisors and four Team Leaders as well as the larger Grounds Maintenance teams. The tree team maintain all the trees which are in the Council’s ownership, so it is important that the right person has knowledge of trees along with excellent ICT skills i.e. outlook, excel, databases, word etc. You love to work outside in all weathers and are keen to learn new skills. You have experience in a front-line customer service role and want to make a difference to the community.
