WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will provide a friendly, effective and efficient front of house service and support the day to day operation of the assigned cultural venue ensuring excellent customer service at all times and a high-quality service, that is safe, efficient, and enjoyed by users.
Acting as a first point of contact for customers, contractors and partners, you will welcome visitors and ensure that enquiries are dealt with professionally, politely and promptly.
You will provide information about the venue as required and support public engagement activities such as provision of ‘behind the scenes’, or heritage and cultural venue/ gallery tours acting as an advocate for the culture service, proactively encouraging and supporting customers to enjoy a positive experience.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
Experience of working with customers from a wide range of backgrounds in a customer facing environment and of working in a theatre or other cultural venue is essential.
You must have experience of using IT applications and of maintaining a safe working environment.
Where our roles are customer facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, you will be required to demonstrate the ability to speak fluent English. This is a requirement under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
